Artists

Van Lanigh

Van Lanigh is a Russian artist based in the Netherlands. She had a tough childhood with abusive parents and made the first attempt to run from home when she was 7. Escaping from reality to the imaginary world assisted her to deal with anxiety. This developed into a strong spatial visualisation ability which helped her to become the youngest student in a local Art School. At sixteen she left home for the last time to start an artistic career and two years later moved to the Netherlands. Releasing her emotions into work connects realism and abstractionism through the lens of subconsciousness to achieve superconsciousness.

Banbu

After graduated from Tokyo Designer Academy Art Department, Banbu started his artist career in the spring of 2019 after returning from studying abroad in Canada and the the United States. Influenced by foreign animation when he was a child, and pop art that Banbu encountered when he was a student, Banbu created a character using motifs that are not human beings (real world creatures), aiming to express the beauty of diversity by looking at everything from a flat perspective (third-person point of view).

Benzilla

Parinya Sirisinsuk was graduated from Fine and Applied Art Bangkok University, Thailand.

Blake Jones

Blake Jones is a Chicago-based fine artist. His playful characters and bold, color-drenched aesthetic lend his work a cartoon-like quality that is instantly appealing. In addition to his fine art and outdoor murals, Blake Jones has worked for numerous businesses and major companies including Soho House, Threadless, Budweiser, and Mountain Dew. Blake Jones was selected by a panel of judges for both Line Dot's Second and Third Annual Juried Shows.

Maria Imaginário

Maria Imaginário lives and works between Lisbon, PT and London, UK. Her work has been exhibited at art fairs and galleries in London, Lisbon, Paris, Milan, Rome, Lyon, Miami, Atlanta and San Diego.

Shishidomia

Sayuri, the founder of SHISHIDOMIA is a Japanese artist with strong Latin American roots. Her childhood swayed within the beauty and richness of the Japanese and Colombian cultures; a mixture of flavors and colors that awoke a true passion for art and its power to convey deep social and personal feelings. This effervescent drive led to her enrollment at the prestigious Tokyo Metropolitan Senior High School of Fine Arts, culminating in her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Textile Art & Design at Tama Art University in Tokyo, Japan. While still in college, Sayuri was awarded The Barbara Shapiro Award for excellence by the New Beat International textile art competition in Oaxaca, Mexico. Shortly after graduation, Sayuri moved to the US to pursue a career as a pop art artist and textile designer. She is currently fully dedicated to the creation of modern culture relevant art and the launch of her clothing line.

Sun-Mi  (aka Pamplemouze)

Sun-Mi  (aka Pamplemouze) is a contemporary artist in the Faux Naif movement and best known for her erratically naive girls who find themselves in never - ending conflict. Utilizing mono-painting as her main source of medium, her work is a way of documenting her life and is depicted by her constant struggle to express her sheltered emotions. The stylization in her work is a homage to her childhood born out of admiration for cartoons and can be best described as a controlled mess. Born in Asuncion Paraguay, she later went on to study at Maryland Institute College of Art where she received her BFA in Illustration.

Zoie Lam

Zoie Lam is an artist based in Hong Kong. As the creator of the imaginary planet Zlism, Zoie Lam details a world with all its residents and happenings. Positive energy oozes out from the kind-hearted characters as they come alive under her pen, all with fascinating stories unfolding in one painting after another. Through her artworks, Zoie Lam would like to express her ideas towards different social phenomena. Most of the artworks by Zoie Lam appear as a dense and intricate tapestry of patterns juxtaposed with vivid colours — a remarkable visual contrast for a signature style that sets Zoie Lam apart from the rest.
